Welcome to the Web site of the Tam High School Bike Team.

Who We Are

We are a small group of dedicated riders from local Tamalpais High School. We participate in the NorCal High School Mountain Bike Racing League, which is a state wide organization offering competition between schools in cross-country mountain biking, with hundreds of riders registered from about 20 different schools.

The team (and league) focuses not only on bike racing now, but hopes to create healthy kids with a lifelong passion for cycling in the process.

Tam High Bike Team recently formed about 3 years ago, in 2004. This year is big for us; we finally got organized and acquired a real coach and assistants, lots of excited new members, and will be ordering team jerseys for the first time, proudly displaying our sponsors

 

Our Mission

  1. To give beginner riders an understanding of our sport and to give them a fun and challenging cycling experience.

  2. To have the intermediate riders advance in racing categories (i.e., beginner, sport and expert).

  3. To have the advanced riders increase proficiency and develop and earn top honors at races
